Ken Davenport, CEO of Mission Edge, is a results-oriented leader seeking to make a major impact on the world. Currently he is working on one of the most intractable problems has ever encountered -- the inefficacy of the social sector. The potential is huge -- to help good, passionate people become better at solving real community problems. But the market is fundamentally under-funded and under-resourced -- and desperately in need of market-based solutions and metrics to help improve outcomes.
His latest focus is social enterprise -- helping nonprofits and social entrepreneurs develop sustainable revenue streams through fee-for-service business models. Providing experts in accounting, HR, data management/reporting and strategy, coupled with a social enterprise accelerator that has brought more than 30 innovative programs to market, Ken enables Mission Edge’s clients to reach their organizational potential and do more good.
Recently, he also wrote his first novel -- an alternative history thriller about John F. Kennedy and Vietnam called The Two Gates.
