UC San Diego Women in Business presents Speaker Series, a program initiated to provide a diverse speaking platform for established and experienced business leaders passionate about gender equality in the workplace, in order to bring words of inspiration and advice on campus.

Join us for an evening with Diana Day, Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management & Compliance for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and Southern California Gas Co. (SoCalGas). Day has held various positions with the Sempra companies since 1997, including Assistant General Counsel – Commercial of SDG&E, General Counsel of Sempra Energy Global Enterprises and Vice President and Associate General Counsel of Sempra Energy.

Prior to joining Sempra Energy, Day was with the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins, where she served on that firm’s EEO Committee.
Day currently serves as a Trustee of the Reuben H. Fleet Science Museum. Day has prior service as a director of the San Diego American Corporate Counsel Association, the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, and San Diego Imperial County Girl Scouts. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law. She received her undergraduate degree in economics (summa cum laude) from Washington State University.
