TITLE: Biz/Tech Series: Business Model Canvas - Develop Your Business Plan

Thursday, November 7 | 1:00PM - 3:00PM @ The Basement in Mandeville B202

Are you interested in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of your business?
Join this interactive workshop in building your own Business Model Canvas!

In this workshop, instructor John Wham will help you create your own Business Model Canvas - a visual chart with nine blocks describing your company's value proposition, customer segments and relationships, key activities, revenue streams, channels, cost structure, key resources and partners. The Business Model Canvas allows you to understand how these nine building blocks relate to each other and the different ways these relationships can be changed to increase efficiency or effectiveness in your business.

The Business Model Canvas, which is popular with entrepreneurs for business model innovation, is much easier to use than a traditional business plan due to its creation simplicity. It will organize your business plans to be FOCUSED, FLEXIBLE, AND TRANSPARENT. Your team will be able to easily understand your business model and see your vision in a single page.

All work done during the workshop can easily be reused and edited if a more comprehensive business plan is needed later.
